Code in the real world

Here is an article that puts a “real world” perspective on writing software, highlighting the many constraints that hinder ‘good programming’.  Its last line is as obvious as it is true: “there’s one simple and completely painless way to prevent future generations from cursing you when they look at your code: include some comments!”.
